Joiri Minaya was the featured artist for our first TBD Salon.

[Image description]: Joiri’s artwork titled #dominicanwomengooglesearch features a person in a red, white, and green floral full body suit, lying on their side and staring directly into the camera, on green grass surrounded by pink flowers.

2021 programming to be announced soon!

TBD Salon is a series of community-funded virtual studio visits that supports artists and arts organizers during the COVID-19 pandemic. In partnership with a series of artist-centered organizations, TBD Salon builds community while supporting artists and arts organizers, creative practices, and critical connections during this uncertain time and beyond. We invite folks who have the means to donate $10 per program to attend and support honorariums for the participants and program production. For those who can’t donate but would like to attend, please send us an email—we’d love for you to join us.

We’re building connections, hosting creative conversations, and raising funds for artists and arts organizers to ease the strain they have experienced due to cancelled speaking engagements, postponed exhibitions, income loss, layoffs, and barred access from facilities. We recognize the multitude of connections happening virtually during the pandemic and hope to celebrate this, while building community and directly supporting artists and arts organizers.
